- RAM prices have taken a slump at Special reserve. 70ns 4Mb SIMM at 55 quid
- including postage and packing. 16Mb 70ns SIMM at 260 quid (100 quid cheaper
- than the same spec at Harwoods). If only Spec. Res. did 60ns chips as well!
-
- Call again and see what the price is.
-
- The problem with White Knight is that they put a 2.5% surcharge on VISA Credit
- cards, which is what I would use to buy any goods worth over 100 quid.
-
- You need to 60ns RAM to squeeze full speed out of the accelerator but the 70ns
- RAM wouldn`t hurt (there is a switch for it on the board, apparently). What I
- want to know is will 70ns RAM get wait states on the 40Mhz 030 in Walker. What
- speed of RAM are they planning to use?
